Pitta is composed of two great elements Fire and Water. Pitta is hot, oily, penetrating, warm, and light. Pitta is responsible for digestion and metabolism in the body. 

As per Ayurveda, a person is born with a life force that comprises the five elements or building blocks of nature – earth, air, water, space, and fire. We, humans, possess a unique balance of these five elements in varying degrees. That makes our “Prakriti”  means our unique constitution.

You are Pitta type if :-

  • Gets hungry easily.
  • Always competitive and like to be a leader.
  • Super intense and passionate.
  • Get impatient and frustrated easily.
  • Know what you want exactly. 
  • Behave bossy most of the time.
  • Can’t tolerate heat.
  • Love cold weather.
  • Like cold and sweet food.

When Pitta is balanced –

  • You feel confident and courageous. 
  • You are organized.
  • You are warm and friendly. 
  • You work so hard.

When Pitta is imbalanced – 

  • You become aggressive and judgmental. 
  • You feel angry and frustrated. 
  • You behave bossy with the people around you.
  • You are always frustrated.

Tips to bring the balance –

  • Go to bed early.
  • Wake up before sunrise.
  • Eat natural sweet food more.
  • Stop eating junk.
  • Do not eat spicy and pungent food.
  • Eat Kapha enhancing food.
  • Meditation.
