Are you Vata type?

“Prakriti”  means our unique constitution or mind and body type. Ayurveda believes that all the creations of Mother Nature are composed of five great elements “Panch Mahabhutas” and all the creatures have these five elements in them but the proportion is not the same.

These five elements are Eather, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. Vata is composed of two great elements Air and Ether. Vata is subtle, dry, cold, and light. Vata is responsible for circulation and movement in the body.

You are Vata type if :-

  • Change your mind frequently.
  • Don’t do well with the schedule.
  • Multitasking.
  • Try to make everything artistic.
  • Get excited about new tasks and projects.
  • Move over quickly.
  • Like the change.

When Vata is balanced – 

  • You are friendly.
  • Full of energy.
  • You feel positive and creative.
  • Like doing adventures.
  • You find yourself spiritual.
  • You are a free spirit.

When Vata is imbalanced –

  • You experience insomnia.
  • You become very sensitive.
  • You forget things easily.
  • You experience constipation and dehydration.
  • Muscle spasm is common.

Tips to bring the balance –

  • 7-8 hours sleep.
  • Meditation.
  • Yoga or light exercise.
  • Include healthy fat in your diet.
  • Have spiced milk before going to bed.
  • Lots of fiber in the diet.
  • Warm meals only.
  • Eat meals at 4-5 hours intervals.
  • Don’t eat cold and dry food.
